hmmm...proof that you need to do more research on the subject. and why do you want cams if you don't even know what they do or how they will affect your performance??


anyways, another problem is the power to weight ratio of the VG max...there is no doubt a mildly built N/A SOHC VG stuffed into a 280Z or 510 would haul some major ***...

Well I agree with you pretty much to the T but the problem I see is cost. Your talking about a lot of money in headwork. In the end I think it would be about the same price to go with the z31 block and turbo plumbing. Except now your dealing with a turbo which, again, is the only way to get a fast VG. (not including NOS of course) This is just what I found. I had my heads off and I was real tempted to get the headwork done. I read not only here at the ORG but other places that it wouldnt give me too much. Now I was looking at about 800 dollars to have my heads worked and intake matched for what, About 10 HP? Not worth it. All the money and time Ive put into this car I think if I were to do it again Id go with the z31 turbo plan. Again I could be way off, what do ya think?
