here you go...
Nismo cams @ Courtsey:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...nismo_camshaft
if you do a search here you'll find an old link I posted a long time ago about a company who sells the cams for $175 a piece(if I remember correctly)...not sure what the price is now, but if you are serious about it than do a search.

Do you guys think that the JWT stage 2 cams are the best bet for a race head? I was going to go with regrinds, but I heard that even though their posted specs look better, an aggressive billet cam will out perform any regrind.

can't you just take the specs of that regrind you were going to get, buy a new billet set and have those specs ground into it....then you can have the specs you want on a brand new billet set

Does anyone know more about this? If I just went on information from this board and z31.com and others that I've searched, I wouldn't know of any applicable differences between billets and regrinds.
Now who wants to see what the JWT stage 2 cams do with vg33e heads made to nissans old GTP specs?

All in all Id say the cams arent really worth the money. The amount of work it took to install combined with $600 price tag and minimal HP gains make it not worth it. For me at least. The stage two's may give more but I was told they arent very streetable.

I've heard the real secret to getting the best gains out of these cams on the SOHC VG is intake and head work...but you have to be pretty serious about it cause as you probably know thats kinda big money there.

Ya know, I did a lot of research on getting headwork done. From what I read the amount of HP gain you would get wouldnt be worth the money. Not only that but I would gain even more top end and lose even more lower. Im pretty much convinced the ONLY way to a fast VG is turbo.

You might want to try doing better research study too long, study wrong . Headwork + cams are worth 10-35whp depending on cam grind and how hardcore the headwork is. I have dyno charts showing proof of the gains. I suppose one could make a "fast" VG but to do that you'd probably need DOHC heads to make good NA power. However there are some bolt on + cam/headwork NA Z31s running mid-high 14s.
With nitrous a bolt on VG with heads + cams would run 13s given the right power boost from nitrous. Of course there would be a loss in bottomend torque once you upgrade the heads and cams. Hell NISMO has a set of race cylinder heads that require custom IM and exhaust manifolds for the VG. That would allow one to make even more power but making the IM would be out the range for 98% of us. If your car is an auto get a higher stall torque convertor. I had one along with headwork + ISKY 262 cams in my maxima. The car would launch harder and pull alot quicker. It damn near pulled to the rev limiter in 3rd gear (which floated the valves in the process and destroyed the engine).
Also once the headwork/cams are done if you were to turbocharge the engine it would make it perform so much better. With a proper size T3/TO4E turbo the VG30E could put down more power and torque than a stock turboed VG30DETT!
