two differnt torque values for same VG engine...

Did the 89 -91 Maxima also use the variable induction system? Im extremely interested in knowing why the 89-91 VGs had peak torque 182@3200rpm, but the newer 92-94 VGs peak torque was 182@2800rpm. Anyone that has the older 89-91 brochures please help. thanx!!

My 90 has a 'power valve' in the intake that supossedly legnthens the intake runner size i think if thats what you're talking about. not sure how the newer ones are tho.

Hmm you're right..mine was nasty..especially with 174k on it when i pulled it
