Gas Mileage Question.......?

Hey I just wanted to know about the Gas Mileage on our cars and if there is anyway to get better Gas Mileage on my 89 Max SE. I have a K&N Filter but it still seems like everytime I turn around I am going to the Gas station. Any info. guys??

full tuneup if you haven't had one

spark plugs, PCV valve, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter

I get crappy gas mileage unless I drive like a grandma

My answer is located in another thread that shares the same topic as this one - if you really wanted to know, you could find out the gas mileage of 50+ different maxima owners if you weren't so lazy (IE - do an ****ing search).

I live in south Georgia. This past weekend I had to go to ATL for a conference. Anyway, I got 521 miles on a single tank of gas. Granted, this was all Interstate driving at around 80 mph the whole way. Outside of that, my normal average is about 380 miles to the tank.

So which out of those would be the smaller and easier things I could and should take care of first? I'm not very good with all that technical junk with cars so forgive me

Don't forget the O2 sensor, clogged injectors, clogged cat, and quite a few other things. I usually get 200-250mpg, though I do drive "spirited" most of the time.
