blew the head gasket

well, i ran my vg very hot one night. drove it like 2 miles with no water. refilled it, and everything was fine. then it started losing water about a week later.
i have recently replaced the waterpump and thermostat.
but this time the water is leaking out in between the auto tranny and the engine. there isnt any smoke comming out of the exhaust tho.

anybody have a clue what this all means?

im thinking its the head gasket.

The cylinder heads are aluminum. You probably warped them and blew the head gasket. Therefore, you will need new cylinder heads. $$$

Could be a freeze plug. If I were you I'd try some of that radiator coolant stop leak stuff, so long as its not leaking really fast it should work. The stuff is way cheaper than doing the head gasket, and it should last really long so long as you don't flush the radiator (that'll remove the sealing stuff).

Don't use the stop leak stuff. Clogs radiator and heater core. Find the leak, then replace the freeze plug if that's what it is. Is coolant going out the tailpipe? Or is it dripping out onto the ground?

I had a leak and used the saw dust looking pellets, solved my leak and no problems. I broke the pellets until they were a fine powder then introduced them into the radiator. Sure its not the best choice, but I currently dont intend to pull the top end of the engine apart (at least not right now ).

OR you could spend $3 and use the pellets.

its beyond the pellets at this point.
the copper fluid ran right thru the leak in the block.
it sealed for like 15 minutes.
then it started pouring.
this is my primary mode of transpo. so i need it repaired. not just a quick fix
