My car does not want to start in cold
Hi, I don't know if some of you remember me but I rebuilt my engine in my 91 gxe. Now here is the problem. The car seems to run fine when it is warm except, some times it will bog down and sound like it is going to die when I come to a stop. It is an automatic trany and I don't know if that has something to do with it. but almost every time I come to a stop the engine goes down below 500 rpm's and then it pendulates and the rpm's jump up and down at the stop. Now that is the first problem I am having. The second problem I am haveing is the car does not even want to start when it is cold. It seriously has problems turning over when it is cold and then when it does it will run for about 30 seconds to a minute then die. I have to keep on starting it about three times before it will run on its own. And today my worst fear came true when I came to a stop and the engine was still cold and the engine just totaly died on me in the middle of the street. People were behind me and were not too happy about it. I then had to sit there and turn the car over for about a minute before it started. So the broblem with it when it comes to a stop, is amplified when it is cold. Do any of you maxima specialists have any ideas on what could be the problem. I am open to any opinions...
