Door lock ghost
Saw this subject in the 4th gen forum, but didn't get me anywhere.
Initially, I wanted to keep the engine running and lock the doors (at Dunkin Donuts on a cold morning, for example), but couldn't do it by pressing the 'LCK' button. It just beeps like crazy.
And now, the behavior has totally changed - whenever I shut the driver's side door after getting out, all doors lock automatically. What makes it happen?
2nd question is, how do you keep engine running and lock the doors? I'm sure you could open the back door, reach around to lock the driver's door to lock all four, then shut the back door, but I'm too lazy, and looking for a 'cooler' solution than that.

get remote start...?!? I do it all the time...activate the remote start, take out the keys, exit and lock the doors....

I have the door look ghost as well. Mine does alot worse stuff sometimes. Like, after I turn off the car, the doors will unlock then lock. Then they keep locking themselves for about 5x, drives my friend nuts. It also used to be unlocked in the morning when I came out, even when I made sure it was locked. lots of other stuff too. Brrr... Old and dead people like maximas!
