I know a few people here have upgraded there 3rd gen HU to the 4th Gen BOSE with the CD, unfortunately I can't remember who. Try using the "search" function in the upper right corner.

Yep, it's doable. Be prepared to do a lot of wire cutting though. The newer bose systems have a different connecting head, make sure you have a legend of the wires for the old system, and the new system. Probably the hardest part was taking out the old brackets from the old HU. Nissan likes them really tight. For me, I just went to the dealership and bought 3rd Gen brackets to put on the new unit since it was impossible for me to remove any of them from the old unit.

It's all cool, but next time, use the search. =)

do not cut or splice wires unless your used to it and have done so in the past. They make a wiring harness that will adapt the 95-up head unit to the 94-down cars. Go by your local stereo shop and ask for one. They will probably have to order it but they do make one.

or just get a 93-94 bose cd/tape
