i'm about to hit 170 w/ k&n and exhuast...how about yall?

 

bah....crank HP is the devil!!! it makes you think the car is that fast when its actually not while crank HP might be 170, at the wheels you're only in the 120s probably

 

I started out with 20 more then that

 

how do you know it will give you 10hp?

 

im guessing my ve has about 170 at the wheels with cone filter, y-pipe, underdrive pully and advanced ignition timeing. i do plan on having it dynoed very soon because i just got the filter, y-pipe and udp on tues and have an ultra light flywheel on the way which i hope will give about 5 more

 

you might even be closer to 190hp. Since stock VE's put down about that much.

 

i always thought a stock ve was inbetween 155 and 160

 

5 speeds are usually around 160-170 depeding on condition. I believe Randy dyno'd at 167hp stock.
