where to get engine rebuild instructions on the net?

i'M REBUILDING MY ENGINE IN SCHOOL AND i TALKED TO THE DEALER ABOUT the shop manual and it's close to $100, does anyone know where to get order of breakdown, and torque specs and crap like that? I went to the local libraries and didn't come up with much, does anyone know of any online sights that would guide me through this or would be of any help. if not thanks anyway.

get a Haynes manual and/or look on Ebay for an FSM, they go for about $50-60!!! FSM is highly reccomended for this procedure, but I'd suggest you get a Haynes too, it puts the rebuild as well as other processes in laymen terms compared to some of the FSM's descriptions!

There are some things you don't cheap out on. This is one of them. I wouldn't trust ANYTHING short of a Nissan FSM

Listen to the man. I just finished installing struts using the Chilton's manual. Some of the exploded diagrams of the front suspension had the bumpstops drawn upside down. Needless to say, a FSM is at the top of my list.

If the Chilton's makes mistakes on something relatively simple like suspension, I wouldn't dream of using one for an engine rebuild!
