I have a 92 se autoheadache with 80k miles. the will stall when I put the car in gear after a min. during warm up. I have searched and found this to be normal for the max.

But when the car is warm up, and the temp. needle in the middle, the rpm will rev to 3000rpm or 4000rpm but the car will not accelerate at 25mph. I have to let go of the gas pedal and step on it again. It will let me accelerate above 25mph when I accelerate slowly.


Also, I have poor acceleration and the car feels weak. I did clean the throttle body and I will check the timing and clear the injectors when I have time this weekend. I did not have time to find a tranny code until this weekend. I already done the tune-up.

My questions are: is the tranning slipping, the engine coolant senor gone bad or something else that i have overlooked. Can I adjust the tps sensor so I can get better acceleration?
Yes my vtc is ticking.
