slick 50

hey guys im about to do an oil change on my car and i saw slick 50 for automatic transmission at Auto Zone the other day and I was wondering should I pour that in. I have a 89 max with 170000 miles on it.I just want to know if anybody ever tried that before

i think they're being investigated for making false claims. so don't waste your money on it

Your best bet is a full transmission service, new fluid, screen, etc. The fluids are your car's blood. They get contaminated/depleted from use and need to be replaced. Additives are not recommended unless you need a band-aid, for an oil leak, for instance. Otherwise stay away from them and practice good preventive maintenance.
