hesitation, then pull, please help!

I have a 93 VE. This problem happens quite often. Lets say im on the gas about 1/3 throttle. the rpm up to about 2800 to 2900 rpm is very slow and hesitant but when it gets up past 3000 it pulls like it normally should. this happens in all the gears. i was wondering if anyone knew what could be going wrong. could it be my timing, my fuel filter, my injectors, or even something else??? please help and thanks for the info.

Welcome to the VE Bullsh** club. Take a look at the sticky called "heat soak gone with new knock sensor". It may be of some use to you.

Have you ever replaced the ingition coils? if you have more than 70k on them, then you should replaced them (all six of them) www.courtesyparts.com This is a part of a nornal ignition tune up. But be prepared to cough up $300
