tires Q and i SEARCHED

i searched through 4 pages on tires and just want to get some opinions, im looking at Yokohama AVS ES100 225/50-15 @ $81, and Dunlop SP Sport 8000 225/50-15 @ $96. i never read anyone is running that size on a stock se rim also im going with sprint 1.8" springs and was wondering if i will rub at all since im going with a lower profile. i dont care about ride quality or noise i just want my car to handle alot better and get alot better traction, please post your opinion on which i should get or should i look at a different size thanks

then get bigger wheels. you can't do much on the stock 15" wheels. buy larger ones. 16 or 17 are both fine. I think my 17s just barely nudge my 16s in performance, but the 17s are also 235 wide while the 16s were 225s.

that was one of the most drastic handling upgrades I made to the car.

i know i should but the wheels i want will run me about $900 and then $400 for tires so total would be 1300 and i dont have that kind of money right know and id really like my car to look stock as posible for my own personal reasons so i figured id go wider and stiffer side wall for handling so i just want to make sure they will work thanks

then do 215/60/15 and don't go any wider than that.. they look stupid on stock rims if you go any wider than 215.

I picked up my 245/45/17's off a Cobra R from Ebay for $400 and they look great.
