Found the .org two days ago and have been reading as much of the wealth of info in here as I can digest without going crosseyed or blind in the process. What a great place! Thanks to the owners, moderators & supporters for the forum and all the enthusiasts for the ideas/tips/info.

We've owned a '93 GXE(without mods) since '98 and have the drum to disc rear brake conversion first on the dance card.

One of the .org members must have spiked the Koolaid...We're going to go take a look at another '93 GXE-pearl white/grey, 65m that the original owner has up for sale later today.

Bah... don't even bother buying another GXE.. the second you drive a 5 speed SE, you'll think you're in a completely different car. just wait it out until you can find one. They're rare, but still out there.

Yes. A 5 Speed SE smacked me upside the head and I had to buy it. When it is actually running, it spanks my GXE. If you do go for an SE, read up on all the SE VE30DE issues and look for them on the car.

Thank you all for the heads up on the SE vs the GXE. Time to shop around and see what turns up.
