Exhaust

I have an exhaust leak and was wondering what the exhaust pipe before the Cat is called. I have been lookig for it online thru a OEM dealer but dont know what i am looking for. Is it possilby called the front pipe? I am looking for the pipe that connects the front and rear banks together.

I've seen(on this forum) that someone had a problem w/ their Y pipe. Will it add A LOT to your overall loss of back-pressure?

I know you need some back-pressure...

common misunderstanding...you dont need back pressure. You just dont need too big of an exhaust pipe. Dan (I think) explained this a while back using straws and that is probably the best description I have heard.
