Is bigger always better
Is bigger always better
I've got an exhaust leak and I figure while I'm fixing it I may as well get something better than stock. But, the question is, which would be a better diameter? Warpspeed makes B pipes in 2.25" and 2.5", and I'm trying to decide which one to buy.

Hmmmm I dunno about that 2.25" guys...
GReddy is something like 2.46", and it's probably that way for a reason.
I always kinda thought it was just the given 'thing' to go 2.5" all the way...

Get the 2.5. you'll lose a bit of low end, but gain some top end. it'll also work even better when you ad other mods to the engine so it'll breathe better throughout.

Does anyone else on here find it funny that when Matt says the exact opposite of what everyone was saying at first that all that followed followed Matt???
It would make sense to match up the sizes throughout the the exhaust so if you got a Y-pipe that had a 2.5" out why would you want to go smaller after that?

1500 cc - 2000 cc ---> 2"
2100 cc - 2500 cc ---> 2.25"
2600 cc - 3000 cc ---> 2.5"
That is just a simple rule of thumb.
