curbing the max

well we get snow throughout this week in manhattan, kS starting today. I took my gf to work this morning since the snow had started sticking and we couldnt use her car (camaro rwd). On my way back, I was approaching a light that was green and it suddenly turned yellow nd i wasnt anywhere near it but was doing about 20. No time to stop and i stupidly locked the brakes, which turned out to be a good thing cos the car slide sideways and i curbed it just as I got to the intersection where cars had started flying by again. What usually gets damaged when a car gets curbed? I assume my alignment will.

alignment might be goofed up some, but the most common problem is usually wheel damage.

things to check:
tie rod ends
wheel bearings
ball joints
spindle
alignment
wheels
tires

hahaha! Just like you matt!! I just had a look at it and took it around the block. Steering's a little off but there isnt any play in the front wheels. So I guess I'm okay so far. I hate snow arrgh!

only 4 pistons.. they're some of the smaller 4 pistons at that. As you can see from the pics, they're the biggest that would fit under my wheels, so I'm glad I didn't go to the next size up!

pad life is shorter, but there's always trade-offs in everything.
