Nylon in the tranny?

I've posted several times about the noise that I think is coming from my tranny but haven't had much luck. Well today I checked the tranny oil while getting gas and low and behold there was a small (smaller then a drop of water)piece of nylong looking material hanging onto the dipstick. So now I think I might be onto figuring out what is causing the noise but I can't think of anything in the tranny that would be made out of a fiberous material. Any ideas? Tranny still runs great, just makes the low moaning noise at idle.
