Dear God, Someone Help

I have a '92 Maxima, and I have a little more than a basic knowledge of cars. My maxima has been dying on me. Sometimes I'll be at a stop light and the RPM's drop and then the engine dies. Other times, I'm going 65-70mph on the freeway, and the engine dies on me. Anyone have any idea what the heck could be causing this? I appreciate any advice/guidance/solution. If you know for sure, please email me at tranjc@yahoo.com Thank you.

I had a tune up about 10 months ago. Can someone show me where I can find or give me directions to clean out the MAF? I'd appreciate it. I searched for it, but I need a little more detail. Thanks.

Buy yourself a repair manual, it's worth it. Even if you can't afford a FSM, the basic Chiltons will do the trick.
