fuses question

Hey can anyone point out where, or how to fix the back lights for the 90 SE? I checked the fuse box and could not find the correct fuse. They went out when I installed a new radio. I doubled checked all wiring and they are fine. Also, on the wiring kit for the new radio, there were tow wires that were for dimmer lights. Are they needing to be hooked up to anything? My radio did not have a connection for those two wires. Please help. I have been pulled over twice for no back lights.

check your fuses 1 more time just to make sure , also check the bulbs , you can get to them through the trunk, and in the radio installs i've done, i have nevered hooked up that dimmer wire...haven't even looked into what it does

Hey Tafan thanks for replying. I checked the fuses a few times. My dash lights also went out. One cop told me that once the dash lights go out the back lights go out the same time. I'm confused. The fuse box diagram does not show which one is for either the dash or the back lights. In fact I pulled out almost everyone and they are all fine.
