I have a friend that is trying to start her 90 maxima that has been parked in snow for 3 months.

the car starts up ok, but there is entirely no steering function at the time. the wheel is not locked up, it moves back and forth but it seems to be a power steering problem.

my friend has a limited knowledge of cars and I'm trying to get her some quick info on maximas --- so can aNYone verify that the 1990 maxima features power steering? all models included? does anyone know where i can find an online diagram of under the hood?? (online owner's manual/chiltons)
any of this would be greatly appreciated, she is kinda freakking out and i juss thought the maxima forum would be the best place to turn.

any ideas why the steering might be out besides the obvious power steering check?
