VG problem

Hi all.

I've been having a bit of a problem with my '90 GXE over the past few days. At about 2k RPM, I've got a rattling noise and a slight power loss. It happens more noticably under load. It happens regardless of gear and vehicle speed. If I accelerate moderately from a stop, the noise and power loss occur from ~1900 RPM to ~2100 RPM. Thanks, and I hope I've been descriptive enough.

Lately i have been having the same issue...and at the same RPMs you said and in the same conditions too...either going uphill or under some other load...

i have a leaking stock y pipe and i thought maybe it was the leak that was causing the power loss.

Could it be a bad CAT with chunks of stuff rattling around and moving around in a way to restrict exhaust flow? Just an Idea, not sure if thats possible.
