BOSE problems

My BOSE is experiencing problems in that it would intermittently turn on and off for no reason. This weekend I took it all apart and measured all of the lines from the wiring harness that goes to the back of the Head Unit and every thing seemed to be fine except two lines. I could not find the wiring schematics anywhere on line for 3rd generation maximas so I am not sure what they are supposed to read. One was a short to ground and the other was an open to ground. I don't know which one was supposed to be the power ground but I do not think that any wire should be an open to ground...shouldn't it always have a return path? What are your thoughts? I have read a couple of things on Maxima.Org and have run across some threads that mention a relay underneath the kick panel....maybe that is it? Any feedback is appreciated...

I have the same problem. My stereo works only when it feels like it.I also checked all the wires and they are all fine, but all you have to do is replace the wiring harness. Go to a junkyard and find the harness with the wires.
