How much is a fair price to sell my 91 Maxima GXE:

-142,000 miles
-Power everything, including keyless\remote entry.
-Power Sunroof
-has Bose radio with Cassette, Front left amp is blown
-New Water Pump
-Tires with 25% tread left
-Has leaky fuel injectors
-Needs new Distributor cap
-Exhaust Manifold has a crack
-Right Control Arm bushings are worn (I'm told you have to replace both)

The guys in the shop at the local Nissan place where I was having it looked at are interested so I need to give them a fair price.

if you noptify the prospective buyer of the problems probobly 1500$ if you dont tell them 2500$

 

I would definitely tell them. That's a lot more than I was thinking it was worth. I was thinking I could only get $750 for it with all the problems it has? The quote I got to fix the leaky injectors (6 of them) was $1100 by itself. Thanks for the repsonse!!

 

if a shop is looking into buying your car, the mechanical issues won't affect the price as much since the guys can fix it themselves. It doesn't cost $1100 in parts for the injectors, most of that is labor which is free for them.

Try kbb or edmunds and list the car in fair or poor condition depending on the body and interior.

 

I have a 91 SE with 125K, and I am selling it to my uncle for $3,000.

The only problem is the damn door locks opening up by themselves, but other than that, it is clean inside and out with no troubles.
