Ashtray bulb size

Ashtray bulb size

Does anyone know the bulb size/number that illuminates the ashtray at night? I thought I read a post before about it being a 194, but it's not that size. Thanks!

I'd guess it's a 12v minilamp like the rest of the bulbs used for the interior illumination (besides the gauges)

radio shack part 272-1092 2pack for about $1.50 at most radio shacks

Sorry, It's not the 12v mini-lamp size either. I've replaced those in the buttons and heater controls. The ashtray bulb looks like a 194, but smaller. It is roundish on top and then flat at the bottom where it plugs in. It has one contact on each side of the flat part just like the 194's.

I've never looked too closely at that bulb so I figured it would be a minilamp like the others

remove it and take it in to PepBoys if you haven't checked out all their bulbs already
