Headlight Brights

Hey, Im trying to figure out why my brights aren't working on the passanger side. There is current with the test light, but it still doesn't turn on. Where is the relay for this? Thank you

Maybe the high beam filament went on the bulb. Just switch the bulbs and see if it works when you put in another bulb.

Headlight problems

The problem may be in your headlight switch/turn signal assembly. I've gone thru two on my '93 SE, the original, and the one I snagged from the junkyard. Try taking it off (6 screws I think for the steering column cover, another 2-3 for the actual assembly, and two harnesses to disconnect (I think two if SE- some sort of foglight hookup). Try cleaning it out with electrical contact cleaner, and if that doesn't help you need a replacement..

Mine had similar problems, both headlights known good, on low beam would only have driver side, switch to high and get the passenger side on, driver off. Hope it helps..

Yeah, but check the bulb first. Personally, I'd be kinda salty if I had taken my combo switch off, replaced it, put it back in, only to find out that it was only the bulb!

Still, that's an excellent suggestion from Nighty93MaxSE.
