COuld this be used in a custom projec to boost Hp?

its a Maf of a 300zx vg30et or vg30e i was wondering if this would work as a replacement to my MAF and or is there any possible mods that i could do it such as boring it out or whatever (unless its already bigger than the stock one) Or sohould i not waste my time. I would use search but alas it is down! Any help would be appreciated!

search isn't down.. read the BIG RED POST at the top of the board.
and if you have to ask questions like this about if the MAF will work or not, then you don't really need to know, as you won't have the technical ability to do the install and calibrations.

well im am registered and not a paying member hence it is down. for me that is. Thanks for the input. i just was wondering. Its because i heard of or seen MAF sensor mods so i know something can be done just not sure how. o well. its all good. thanks for the help. i learn more and more every day. 
I dont care if i get flamed or harrassed on this forum cause i learn from it and i take it all in stride. Always keep a positive attitude if you can.

good thinking...
my main point is that if you're asking questions about it, then it won't do you any good, even if you could do the mod.. only time you'll need MAF mods is if you're over 300+hp.. which there's only about two or three .orgy members presently doing that in a 3rd gen.
