I have a Problem with my 90 gxe max. I got a 160,000 miles on it and when I cruise between 45-60 mph (1600 to 2000 rpms), my car bucks like a bronco. It drives me nuts!!!! I tried different fuel system clears and it helps my problems for about two weeks then my car starts bucking and surging again as normal. It bucks and surges more when I am going up hill. Its weird because when I give my car more gas it seems to run fine. I am not tryin to give my car more and more gas but I just want to cruise normally. And when I am going down hill at 55 mph and the needle stays at 55mph, my rpms bounce up and down from 1800-1300 rpm. When I get some time today or tomorrow I am going to check my spark plugs. Do you guys think my fuel pump is going bad or my injectors??Or possibly some other part?? I have an 89 se with the parts needed to fix my car but how much would these parts cost new?? Has any one else had this same problem or am I the only one with bad luck??

theres like a million things that this can be. start with the simplest, the spark plugs. then check the spark plug wires, distributor, maf sensor, o2 sensor. my friend had a problem similar to this and it ended up being his fuel injectors.
