Just bought this one. I'll ahve to alter my exhaust tubing to route under the sway bar, in order to achieve an even or slightly angled up look. Should be quiet enough with two silencers. Any one out there have this type of muffler.

Ohhh yeah.. sexxxy! a big fat muffler with a 4" tip and a 1" pipe sticking out of the middle. that really says performance!

then you fire it up and listen to the sound.. Honda owners everywhere will hear this sound and immediately rush to your car.

you'll be the envy of every civic in town.

I have to go with Matt on this one. I just fail to see how a big fat muffler like that is supposed to look good. It throws all of the proportions out of wack. The back end of the maxima is one of the best parts of it and to put a muffler like that on your saying look at my muffler and not my maxima. I honestly think that the stock mufflers are just right.

Oh yeah one last thing, what the heck is "true aluminun stainless steel"? Is it aluminum that looks like stainless steel? or stainless steel that looks like aluminum? Sounds like they added that just to put another bullet in their list of details.

I agree. The fact remains that I had an impulse buy. I might put it on something else.

The loud ones that you hear; do they have the silence in them? Thank you.

from all the N1 style i've heard? no. no silencers. but i figured they would still drone a little even with a silencer installed (as in the case of my magnaflow muffler)

I'm running WSP CAI / WSP Y / CATCO Highflow cat / WSP 2.5" mandrel b-pipe w/a DYNOMAX 16"X4.5" mid-pipe presilencer to stock muffler; super stealthy.
I though I would have my trusty shop cut the b-pipe just before the rear sway bar, rotate that pipe under the sway bar, then aim the new N1 upwards slightly. This way I won't have that "down / limp" universal muffler look. Then I'll paint all but the muffler tip black. Should look as good as the POWERTECH I once had.

sounds cool. BUT i hope u like droning at 2000-2500 RPM. any straight-through muffler will drone like mad. the silencer helps though. for me, if i feel like being loud, i take my silencer off. but i leave it in most of the time. i personally don't mind the droning THAT much.

My powertech was not fun. Straight throught twin 3" resonated tips, and it was installed too far under the bumper, so all that dispersed sound made it's self comfy in my cabin space. Guess I shouls have bought a flowmaster! Seriously though, no price is worth your peace of mind. I may have to sell this new noise tube to a distant neighbor; "distant" LOL!
