Whatsup up guys. Im brand new to this board. I just today got a '91 SE (leather, sunroof, etc) with 136,000mi for $4000 in Des Moines.

I realize that my UserName is very similar to Jeff92se, and im sorry. thats purely coincidence.

So wheres a good place to start off as far as modifications go?

Well....

here are some places for Maxima specific mods: Cold Air Intake(placeracing.com or cattmanperformance.com), JWT has Maxima stuff too(jimwolftechnology.com), NOS(nosnitrous.com), Stillen(stillen.com), WSP exhaust system(warpspeedperformance.com), Cortesy Nissan(courtesynissan.com) thats all off the top of the head, everything else is add on stuff and/or not Maxima specific companies so you can look for any extra mods and stuff (lightningmotorsports.com, autotoys.com, crutchfield.com, just to name a few...) as for a first mod I'd go for a JWT intake, you notice the new power from the start and its an easy DIY install!!(less than 20 minutes) check the Max.org mod section too, good luck with your new Max

Welcome to the Maxima BBS... DA-MAX pretty much covered the mods aspects, which he did a really good job.

Hi Jeff, hope the "guys" includes females too. I can usually "hang" with the best of 'em. Just got my 93 GXE last Tuesday. Can't help ya with "any" Nissan stuff, I'm a newbie too but just wanted to say "hi" and "welcome". My week here has been very informative and have already received some very helpful advice.
