How to replace front grill?

I picked up a new grille (the factory piece, not the mesh stick-in stuff) and am in the process of trying to get it installed. Has anyone replaced the factory piece, and if so - is there something I'm missing about getting the 5 clips out? I've tried squeezing them to death with a pair of needlenose, but the suckers dont seem to want to let go of the old grill.

Any insight on this would be appreciated, and yes, I checked the FAQs.

The way I got mine out was by pushing on the back of the clips and then turning them from the front with a screwdriver. Once you turn them, they slide out easily.

Got it installed - thanks bro.

Getting the clips back in is a bit of a challenge, eh? I got the top 3 in with about 20mins of pushign and tugging - the bottom two are still un-clipped. I think I'm missing something - I tried putting the clips into the grill first, then clpping it into the frame, but there's not really enough leverage on the grill (since it's plastic) to push hard enough to get the clips into the frame..

I broke some of the clips putting mine back on, so now the top corners on mine are held on by zip ties...
