turn signal

Is the turn signal/wiper switch the same across all third generations? It looks the same but I just wanted to make sure before I buy the wrong part. Thanks,

Justin

The turn signal/headlight switch assembly will bolt into your 92 from a 89 GXE, because I snagged one from an '89 GXE myself, and I have a 93 SE.. the only difference is a 2nd harness connector on the SE switch assembly that is missing on the GXE piece.. I'm not sure, but I am thinking it has to do with the foglights.. I can't tell you for sure because since I bought the car my fogs have never worked anyways, hehe. Too lazy to track it down yet, and have had it 3 years.. laugh. As for the wiper stalk assembly on the other side, I have no idea, but I hope this helps somewhat.

first of all, they are separate switches; once you remove the plastic cover, you can remove each individually

I would think they would both be the same but someone here recently said that the lights/signal stalk is different but I dont know the details of it.

Call up Courtesy Nissan (or any dealer) and ask them to look it up and they should be able to tell you fo sheezy

89-91 is different than 92-94, I know I found out the wrong way. Either will work in a 92+ but if you use an older switch you won't have side marker lights when you put on your turnsignal that is all it does. I know cause that is how my 92 is, no side marker lights with turns.
