Few mods.

Ok i have a 90 maxima. I would like to do some mods. Got some question.s

My car is white and the leather is maroon. I would like to change the maroon to black. How do i do this? There is a plastic dye i use or something right?

Anotehr thing is the tint. thats simple nothing to worry about there..

I want to change the color to red for the exterior i would like to know how much that would cost?

I want to shave the back and put a spoiler like this one

http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_138_full.jpg

My question is how do i shave?this is a new term to me and how much and what is the name of that spoiler.

OH and another thing is that my leather seats are all ripped up. Where cani do to get that fixed and how much would be the cheapest for that.

The stillen body looks very sexy but i went to a big boys toys they told me like 1G+ i think . Where can i get a good deal on that?

And the tv in the seats is there a guide somewehre about that?

For interior, just find a parts car and do a full swap, cheaper that way.

Get limo tint if you can just cause it's wicked.

Expect around $5k for a strip down and repaint, for future reference that color is Aztec Red.

That car is owned by N34JZ, you might want to pm him on specifics.

There's a million ways to shave that off, go to a body shop and ask.

That's a Wings West touring spoiler if I'm not mistaken.

Shop around on the net, this thread ought to help a bit.

And just have a shop install the tvs if you really must get those things.

That should take care of your questions...

Now thank me and tell me how much I

Here To Break It Down

1) for a paint job it won't cost you 5k. Thats a littl bit excessive. A very good paint job is 2k and now your looking at this liek WTF thats still alot. Heres a secret tha I plan on doing and all my friends did. Buy the pain yourself. buy like 10 coats of the paint it'll be alot of money but it'll save you alot of money. Serouisly. Then just take it to some shop basically any shop (Dealership Collisions do it proffesional and cheap [friends took there import to Ford Collision center]) and get it painted.

2) With the inside that will be a *****. and since your looking for nice things and nothing that has to do much with preformance you'll have to renovate everything. I got nothing for you there..lol. Sorry I have no clue about that stuff. But if your going all out Buy Driver/Passenger Lexus seats or something.

3. Where in the hell do you get a trunk and spoiler like that? I just like the trunk thing that he did. It's really nice. I never like the backlights too much.

ok im gonna do jay a favor and ill explain this..

the trunk job is custom, you cannot "buy" it, the center piece was removed and the space was filled with sheet metal to make it flush with the surface; then painted along with the rest of the car
click here and scroll down to the body shop pics to get a taste of the body work that was needed to get this done
page 9 is what you should also read regarding any other info on what was done

as for repainting the car, you COULD have the exterior painted red or whatever color you like but then youll have the engine bay and door jams etc still be white which will look ..unless you have them painted as well which includes removing the engine, more work, and more $ $ $

dont like maroon leather? do an interior swap; find a 3rd gen at a junkyard or something and swap your seats. Especially considering yours are ripped and all, dont bother repairing them

That could also be a cheap alternative, but personally I would do all I can to change out that burgundy.

And just for MaximaTypeR how many times do I have to tell you about reading fine print. I said expect around $5k for a full strip down and redo. Which means engine bay... pillars... everything. Ask any guy who restores muscle cars and that's about normal ballpark for a nicely done and very thurough job. You could spend $2k on a partial, that's fine, not my money so feel free. I'm pretty sure all that buys you though is new paint on top of your existing.

Ugh.. MaximatypeR?

Please don't tell me you have type-R badges on your car. No offense, but that's probably the most tasteless thing you could ever do to your car. =\

Don't diss on my buddy there. Don't you know every Type-R badge adds another 5HP??? 10 if the R is especially big and red. If you upgrade to GT-R badging tho, you can pull an extra 20HP each. Don't forget windsheild banners and stickers for aftermarket parts you don't even use, another 5HP each. Maybe 10 if you put them where you can get a lot of airflow, like your fender or windsheild, helps them breathe more freely.

So remember kiddies, all you wannaba rice boys, get as many errant and non-sensical badges and stickers you can. Then maybe one day you'll have over 300HP to the front wheels just from these simple mods alone.

Just don't let the catch you.

Heheeheh. I meant no disrespect at all - but as a fan of import tuning, my biggest pet-peeve is the dreaded big red R on anything..

since you want to completely change the color of the entire car, I highly suggest just selling it and buying another one.
for the money and effort required to swap the interior and do a repaint, you could buy another entire car.
