A Different Tranny Problem
It's weird or maybe it is juts me not knowing what i'm tlaking about. When i turn O/D on my car will just rev to bout 5500 or 6000 RPM then go into gear. If i turn O/D off it will drive fine unless I give it a little to much gas then it will just rev out to 6000 Rpm again. Am I correct when i say i need a new tranny or a tranny rebuild. I just do not want to get ripped offf if i take it to the shop. Thanx alot guys.

We're going to need a little more info to go on that what you provided. Are you flooring the gas pedal when you drive? My auto doesn't shift at 6000 unless I'm flooring it. You might try to see if your throttle cable is too tight or getting stuck if you aren't flooring it and it's still going up to 6000 RPM. If your transmission is shifting at 6000 RPM while using minimal throttle, I would say there is a problem. Try to describe exactly what happens in a lot more detail and we'll see if we can help.

Ok a lil more info hmmmm....
Ok it's weird as u can see from above. my car shift if i floor it it shifts at red line. but the weird thing is if i turn overdrive on it just revs out to Redline then it shifts. Then if i turn Overdrive off it is fine to drive. But it seems if i try to give it a lil to much gas it revs out and redloine and then shifts. So i slowly have to apply gas cuz once i give it a lil to much she just just jumps to 6000 Rpm
