My clutch is clicking ??!!

has anbody had a clicking sound when the clutch pedal is pressed or released? I just noticed today with the car off, if i press the clutch pedal or release it...i hear clicking sound during the motion of the pedal...i can also feel it in the pedal...

does anybody have any suggestions? ideas? what this might be...the fluid in the clutch master cylinder is good. havent checked the slave due to bad light.

i just had this excedy clutch put in 3 months ago...what could it be?

I had the same problem with my altima. I drove it for a year until i finally needed a clutch. When i put the new clutch on the pedal still felt the same and made the same sounds. I climbed into the footwell and it turned out that the pedal itself was loose, left it like that and never had any problems.

is it the clutch or the clutch pedal? if the pedal all of us max's owners have had that problem. Just spray some wd-40 on the spring there. should stop after a couple of apps

i'm pretty sure its something to do with the clutch pedal only and its assembly....but what was getting me worried was that the sound appeared to be coming from the engine bay as well as the top of the pedal itself...

seems liks its only the spring assembly then...i'll use the WD-40 on it....thanks for the help
