Beam Pattern, screwed up?
Beam Pattern, screwed up?
I installed Hanabi 8000K HID kit (was actually H4 but modified to fit the OEM headlamp). I am not very pleased with the light output, or the beam pattern. It seems as if most of the light is going to the sides and not enough in front of the car. Has anybody else experienced this problem? I am thinking that perhaps the orientation of the bulbs in the headlamps is not correct or the H4 bulbs are different from the 9004 (I know the base is different but I am talking about the actual bulb). OR I was thinking that perhaps the 8000K does not put out that much light. Any suggestions, Please help.
Thanks

N34JZ and myself have a 7500k kit and the improvement is great. Light shines out in every direction but I do get a lot in the front of me. I thought the lighting on the floor would be bad but it's actually pretty good. Our kits are 9004 kits and maybe the way the bulb is positioned on a H4 kit is different which I think it is because I installed a H4 kit on my friends 2002 Honda Odyssey and the bulb positioning was different. I think thats your problem.

Waste of money buying that H4 kit. 9004 filaments are completely different. That H4 will never put out the light it is capable of. Sell it and get a 9004 kit. This also is only low beam losing highs.
