My poor baby...

I'm so sad, I'm gonna lose my baby. I got in an accident yesterday afternoon all my front end body panels are useless, which in and of itself is not too bad, but my front radiator support is done for, which means that the damage will be worth way more than the car. but despite the destroyed front end, I can still decimate hondas on the road so...

GO VG!!!!

I've got a VE in the works in Phoenix with 171k miles on it, for $1800. Imma go try and talk him down.

Yeah, that really sux. At least you have some money to buy something else, I don't know what I'd do if I got in an accident...
Hey, I live by pheonix! Thats a pretty sweet deal, I bought my POS from some guy for $2800 VG, almost 150k miles. Tranny blew a week later. Lots of other expenses on it in the last 6months( bought it not even a year ago). How did you find this car? (not that I'd be able to buy any I could find).

wow, thats pretty good then, or the car might be in bad shape. When I was looking for a maxima, I called everyone on autotrader under ~$5000
(years ranged from 1989-1995), but pretty much everyone was sold. I tried it for a couple months, even the same day that they were posted, but apperently the cars were usually sold days before. I eventually gave up to my moms nagging, and was goin gto just buy this old vovlo 740 that I really didn't want. We got it, but one of the guys called me back, and I went over there in the night to check it out. It was a gold GXE, a 91, 150k $2800. I really, really wanted a 92 SE 5spd, but this was the first maxima in months that I had found that was actually available. I probably could have found one if I had looked for 6 months, but school was starting... :L

HOLY CRAP dude! That sucks. I thought I talked to you Friday evening. Maybe not. That's crazy.

I hope everything works out with the VE. Make sure you are prepared for a VTC and KS change since it's old. And MAYBE a tranny rebuild. Good Luck on your shopping.

If you get a VE, dude.... I can help you make that sucker SOOO fast for under $700.

Oh yeah, start looking into selling the mods you have on the VG.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the kid sounds like a rice boi cause hes ditching it to get another import *cough cough CRX*. But I called him to ask about the car, and he says it's immaculate. I have a friend that works at the airport here and he usually gets tickets dirt cheap so I'm thinkin of flying down there to check on it and make sure everything is kosher. And yeah I hope that that thing doesn't start ticking when I fire it up. It's an auto tho, so I need to try and talk rice boi down as much as possible so I can stash money for a 5-speed swap.
