Anyone know of a good online parts catalog for my '90 Maxima SE? I am looking for upgrade parts- presently struts and suspension enhancements.

I am a computer geek by trade, so I don't know all of the automotive terminology- but I am learning quickly! I am looking to see what is available for Pearl (my Maxima's name)

Thanks,
Bruce

Why don't you get some Eibach springs for about $250, they lower your car 1.2". The handling is so good, that you'll be able to take turns at crazy speeds without feeling any body roll. Now you can 3 different type of Struts for the Maxima. You can choose from KYB (which are cheaper than the others, only makes ride a little stiffer than stock SE's struts), you also have Koni (which I think is the most expensive) and Tokico struts and the best at a good price (more expensive than KYB and cheaper than Koni, I think). Everyone uses Tokico, and not only on Maxima's but Rx7's, Supra, etc... I have KYB with Eibach springs, and my car handles great. I was able to beat a STS on a 45mph turn with wider and bigger wheels/tires 215/45/17 of course. So all together the Tokico's will cost about a little over $300 for all 4 corners. Hope this helps you.

The tokicos are great for the price, but if you can spare the extra change for the konis it is worth while. They are designed best to handle the lower ride, and handle the stiffness best. But make sure you get a good installer as they use the standard strut shell.
