So, I've noticed that my car has a low pitched creak in the shocks or struts (I'm not car guru.) When I go over bumps, especially slower, like driveways or speed bumps, I hear the creaking. I can tell it's on all four wheels. Is this something to worry about you think? I've had the car for about 5 months and I baby it to death. I'm not sure if I remember hearing the sound before...it's probably not new.

Any ideas?

Hmmm... I get that as well.

Mostly when its cold though.
I have also been told that my Struts look worn.

My solution: just get the Tokico/eibach combo that the Max so badly needs anyways!

I have the same problem in the rear of my car and it's probably yhe springs because I just had the struts replaced. So I would assume it's your springs making the creaking noise. I also notice it more now that it's winter time and it's cold. The only difference between you guys and me is that mine do it all the time. I'm checking on the Eibach springs shipment tomorrow. I hope they come soon!

It's the rubber bushings on the entire suspension.. this is normal on every car with rubber suspension bushings.. don't worry about it. it will go away when the car warms up.

if it REALLY bothers you, get some thick grease/lube and coat all the bushings inside and out, then stick it all back together..

that's a Looooot of work just to get rid of a few squeaks.

So in that case....

Would the Poly bushings on the ST sways clear that up?

Same as everybody else

It's a bit chilly in Washington State right now with frost in front of my house in the morning. When I back out of my driveway, I can hear the rear end squeak/creak.

the funky white lube that somes with the poly bushings is what you need.. the bushings themselves won't solve the squeak.. it's the luuube man, the luuuube.

Re: Same as everybody else

Think about how much we'd squeak if we slept outside at night...this 40 year old body would probably be very happy "just" to squeak. :-)

I creak too

over speed bumps...It's sooooooooooo annoying. I gotta replace RSB and springs early this summer, hopefully that will fix it if it's not just the cold weather.
