I had one custom made at a local (and very reliable) exhaust shop. SS, mandrel bent, and it was a lot cheaper than the GReddy. I don't see how the GReddy could give any better of performance, either. The only difference is it's not a 'bolt-on'... but I don't plan on taking it off any time soon so who cares?!!

As with most performance stuff for these old (but fun) cars, you're just not going to be able to pick up your rice catalog and start ordering everything for your car. You're going to have to be creative, or just buy a Civic or something...

GReddy is a very trusted name in the business, however, and unlike Stillen I would actually consider paying the extra bucks for the 'name'. After all, they put a lot of R&D time into thier products and aren't in the habit of selling crap to their customers.

Either way you're going to get performance gains.

the thing about greddy technology is that as your revs goes up it gets quitter, i beleave on our cars they are loudest at 2500rpms. they have really good resinators and sound deading materials

Mine came stock with 2.25" piping. I assume it was the stock exhaust... I wasn't the first owner of the car but I was the second and it didn't appear to be modified in any way. ?? I use 2.5" all the way back y-pipe on even when hitting the nitrous... I was strongly advised against using 3" on it unless I bolted up a turbo and was running high boost.
We are putting 3" on Mark's turbo maxima, though...
