I bet that metal intake really is loud in person

You are right. Just got mixed up. Thanks.

I have a sound bite of it that I plan on posting soon. I'll drop a link here when I have it. It is LOUD.

Any future mod plans?
Oh yes. The one thing that I forgot to put on my site. I'll list a few of them here (the list is practically endless):

1) 17" 2001+ Maxima SE rims w/ tires (not sure yet; definitely be the next major mod)
2) Eibach pro kit & Tokico's
3) Rear sway bar & front strut brace
4) Audio upgrades
5) Exhaust (greddy)
6) Chip (maybe/maybe not, depends)
7) Brake upgrade (bigger rotors, better calipers, etc; whole shabang)
8) Underdrive pulley

is that the original paint?
Yes, except for the hood which has visible orange peel. It's not that bad. I didn't notice it until the 2nd time that I looked at the car.

Your Maxima is beautiful! Great job keeping it in such good external condition. I can only assume it runs as well as it looks. Great car!
