Yeah... that's me. I have not scanned them, they are all from magazines and newspapers thru the years. I also have EVERY brochure from 1989 up to the 2004. I had (and still have to many of them) subscriptions to Car and Driver, Autoweek, Motor Trend, Road&Track, Automobile, Consumer Reports, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and Automotive News Trade Publication (amongst many other non-automotive periodicals). I was in college working toward a BFA then a Masters and needed lots of info on many different industries, their marketing techniques, and design/marketing directions.

When I decided to move to the Orlando area four years ago, I had all these magazines sitting in the attic. Before moving, I went thru each one (it took weeks) and basically cut out all the articles. Without all the bindings and ads, the articles only filled 2 boxes. I had always ripped out the articles on all the cars my family had owned just for reference and also for posterity. It's fun to pull out an article on the Chevette I owned, or the Omni GLH I had, or the 6000 STE my dad had, or the LeBaron convertible my mom drove, or the many Hondas and Nissans my family had thru the years. As you get older, you begin to fondly remember things when you pass a car on the road or read a road test and laugh at the how crude it was. I have a CR comparison test with my Chevette and Omni both tested. It's hilarious how $hitty they were. They each had almost 20 sample defects (many serious) and tested out pretty bad. They were good little cars for me, but yeah, compared to the Civics, Maxima and other Japanese cars we've (wife and I) since owned, they were crappy.

Anyway, yes I do have EVERY article on the Maxima (GEN2/3/4/5/6) from those listed above. Every comparison test. The Ten Best. Car of the Year. Long Term History from AutoWeek. If I ever get time from working and family responsibilities, I would like to post pix of my Maxima (a time warp car, for sure). But I'm not really that enthusiastic about spending so much free time for something I think is not that important and frankly nobody is really interested in.

It seems like I go in spurts. I go for a week without going on this site, and then I have a little time and chime in about a few topics, and then kinda go back to my life here in Florida.

I dunno... MAYBE this weekend I might try to create a CarDomain page (got lots of terrific digital pix). Then, I could see myself scanning something you may want to see. Anything in particular?
