Is it just me, or do we keep hearing the same questions over and over? I swear, if I hear one more "how can I make my corners stay on bright..." I'm gonna hurl.

Last time I checked...

The Max wasn't undergoing any on-the-fly changes that made it any different, so yes, you are hearing the same questions. You will probably be hearing similar questions from different people about the Maxima for the next decade or so on this forum. Expect more.

I have a question..

why don't you make your signature less 500 lines long and accept the fact some people are new and ask the same questions that have already been asked instead of searching.

You can only read so much

I know how u are feeling too, but sometimes when u want to buy something, u want others opinions that have actually gone through the procedure....like shaving emblems...
Just gotta be nice for the new people. I have been reading this board now for over 6-7months...and if i had a dollar for everytime someone posted a questiosn that had already been answered i'd be a rich mo fo! my .03cents =)

Hahaha, that's what I thought it was too at first glance. That's not his sig, he was just bored enough to go search out every question asked on stuff and post where to get the answer. His sig's pretty short =P

And yeah, as far as I know the forum opened in september so unless you're psychic, Kenneth's right. The max forums are better than the car audio ones I read, so they prepared me for the bombardment of questions that get asked over-and-over-and-over .. Go read one of those for a day, it'll bore you to tears, or fix the problem =)

Re: Re: I have a question..

- Hey guys, I understand that repetitive questions can be annoying, but us Newbie's really need help on these things. I appreciate all the time that people have taken to answer my questions (however many times they've heard them) and I just wanted to say thank you. The Maxima is a fantastic car, but parts and advice are not so easy to come by. Thank you to all those Maximaniacs and Fanatics who have been so patient with us.
- For the future, we should all try to be as descriptive as possible when writing the titles for our new threads. This way, if an elder sees a familiar question, he/she can avoid it if they want to. Also, anyone who answers questions should be as complete as possible so that Newbie's can just look back on old threads to get the answers they need.
- Thanks again. ;-)

Excellent suggestion. Too many threads have vague titles such as "Please help!!!!" instead of "Directionals broken" or "Cold start problem", etc.

Along the same lines, please be specific when describing a problem. Too many posts say "engine won't start". When you are asking for help from a person who has never seen/heard/driven your car, you ought to give the clearest possible description of the symptoms. Instead of "engine won't start", say
- engine won't crank (no Rrr-Rrr-Rrr).
... or ...
- engine won't fire (no Vroom!).
The diagnosis and repair paths are entirely different.

Heh, you should add '*warning* Failure to comply will result in a flame/troll post' to the bottom of that.

And feel free to troll me, you punk.

This post was a direct result of a specific post that DOES not comply. I didn't reply to it at all.

All I am doing is trying to make the common info here available to all who don't/can't look for it first.

Your contribution is fully useless, however.

(anyone wanna do a search on all the posts ereet has made? judge for yourself.)
