wow did you drive that thing in reverse the whole time you owned it? you might want to open your guage cluster back up and rearrange those number just a WEE bit higher, cause thats pretty rare to see a car that old with that few miles on it..... and if it REALLY does only have that many miles, then damn! thats pretty good and im sorry bout what i previously said, just not very commen for a car that old...... What options, digital guage? and whats $3k in stereo? must be a pretty incredible stereo for $3k! Well if thats all legit, then i bet you could make $7k just cause the miles, but i think people are gonna think its fishy that it only has that many on it....

ummm, actually the odometer still rolls forward even when you're driving in reverse.. I drove 1/2 mile backwards one day to see if it would.

LMAO, gotta be a male trait that possess' you guys to do some of the things you do. Having male children makes you sometimes go "hmmmmmmmm". Life is "never" dull. The latest adventure of my male child is I awoke yesterday am to find my 4 ft tall JBL living room speakers parked nicely in the real floorboards of the car. "BUT MOM, what's your problem with it????" He had taken the 5" cones (I believe thats what they are called) out of them the previous day and put them in the rear of the car...guess that wasn't good enough. So much for movies in stereo. :-(

No offense meant to any of you males, this is classic, I'm rofl.

Oh, my comment on the thread....if this is 40K miles on a rebuilt or new engine, that should be clearly stated. 40K original miles or 40K on rebuilt/new engine would certainly affect the value.

First of all i really didnt appreciate those comments about rolling back the od because sometime truth is stranger than fiction second of all the car was owned by my grandmother and was only recently sold to me with 30,000 on the od it was her second car, third of all the car has a sony cdx m650 head unit an all infinity kappa speaker system with to kappa perfect 12 in subs and a 1000w orion amp= well over $3000 this car is in mint condition with only a small amount of body dings and dents from being 10 years old but otherwise is perfect it still has new car smell inside and one more cool thing before i ripped out the old stereo system the cars radio was set to 89.5 or something like that what im getting at is the radio was never turned on and tuned to a station same thing with the sunroof never been opened

I think the comments were logical. I don't think they were meant to suggest dishonesty, just expressing surprise. Just think, one little mention from you in your original post about the history of the car and they all would have been avoided...

hey im sorry, its just that when you see a post like that you tend to think your not telling the truth. Yet i completly see the situation now and it makes sense, and i think you should have put that statement about your grandmotehr in the first time to give you ad a little validity because their is questionable things mentoned in your ad. Im sorry if i offended you, but if you saw someone else posting that msg youd probably think the same thing. Anyways i understand why the car would only have that few miles now. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

And Matt, haha good stuff, i bet you had fun steering while going back ward ey? funny that it keeps rolliing forward...

Yo i drove a Subaru Impreza last night it was 2001 w/ STI parts it had carbon fiber Strut bar and interior trim, short throw shifter, cat-back exhaust, and more gauges (Vacuum, voltage, and uhh i forgot the other one but they were in the middle of the dash above the heater controls).
and stickers STI and SPT. Very nice car!, Great acceleration, and it felt very sure footed, but it had one thing that really surprised me, it had more body roll than my Maxima, and it wasn't very comfortable, i felt cramped. So i t's not for me, but i'd love for the wifey to have it.( the salesman told me i should try out the 4 door but i don't really like 4 door Imprezas.)
I think i'll go drive a Legacy w/ Leather and 5 speed, yeah that's more like it, Dumped on tha ground!
