displacemant questions

has anyone bored out a max before.. more than 10 thousands? just wondering if anyone that has.. have you run into any problems with having that much displacement?? any computer problems or anything?



and on the side does anyone know if jim wolf can program the ecu for displacement? so you dont run into problems? let me know ... i need to know soon.. thanks

It will be fine with everything setup as it already is.. just bore it, and get the proper pistons and it will be fine.

FOr pistons, I'd HIGHLY reccomend BRC. They can custom make forged pistons for about $500 a set. I think it's about $510 or something like that.

i wasnt sure about it.... i am getting velonia pistons through paeco so ... i think i will be ok.. i wasnt sure i was just wondering if anyone has run into problems.... computer wise.. thanks

How badly are they raping your wallet?

Paeco is probably the most expensive place you could buy stuff.

They arent raping me too bad... its a reasonable price for what i am getting.. the pistons are relitivily cheap compared to JE pistons.. paeco is a distributer for Velonia pistons.. they are pretty good pistons...but the thing is about paeco is they sell the bearing set ... and i couldnt find a bearing set for the VG if my life dependant on it... so i had to go with paeco.. becuase with 176thousand on her ... i would have thrown a bearing within a week with all the work that i am doing to her.. so i just didnt want to take any chances.

difficulty getting bearings? They usually have them at the dealers, or can order them quickly.
