Trunk release button on 92 SE?

I have a 1992 SE. Is there a trunk release button/lever anywhere inside the car? My key wouldn't work in the trunk the other day, and I could not find the release. I finally got it open with a can of WD-40 and several explicatives...

Thanks!

I have seen 2 different kinds. One (the most common) is a little button on the drivers side door above the little storage pocket.

two...is a lever (mechanical instead of elect.) beside the gas tank pull.

the only lever I have seen is on my parts car and its an 89 so there may not be a lever type on the 92.

I'm pretty sure 89 - 92s had the lever release and 93 and 94s had the electric button release.

I'm pretty sure it's only 89-91 SE that have the manual release lever (where the gas tank lever is)

I think all GXE and 92-94SE have the button on the drivers door

I have the button on the door - 90GXE. You're lucky that you got the wd40 to work. I just had to change the lock. My button stopped working and the lock was frozen - I tried all kinds but it was shot. Had to remove the back seat.

Well the both work fine now, needed to adjust the mechanism in the trunk to get the button working correctly again.
