taillight removal

taillight removal

i was jus wondering if anybody can tell me the steps to removing my taillights, b/c i wanna remove the yellowish-orange piece.

I was able to remove the orange piece while in the car but if you want to take it out, this is the way I took it out of my friends maxima, first I removed all the 8mm bolts about 4 I think and then since it was cold the tar is real hard so I got a heat gun and started heating the tar area so that it would get soft. Once the tar is soft you can pull it out without a problem. Good luck

sweet man...thanks...i dont have a heat gun, so i guess ill try to take the piece out while it is still in the car

you have to break it and stuff so when I was done I had to clean the mess I made, I was too lazy to take the light out. I used pliers and a flat screw driver to break it.

hmmm... i kinda figured i had to break it when i was trying to get it out the other day, but i didnt feel like messin wit it cuz it was a titty bit nipply out

Oh yeah be careful right behind the orange lens there is a white lens, try not to touch the white one.
