Damn dude, thats interesting? I bet freedom design stole the idea from Stillen? Considering Stillen is very well known for their products. Or maybe it's just an odd coinsidence?

Maybe Stillen buys the Freedom Design one and sells it as Stillen? Stillen does that with alot of their parts.

exactly!!! The stillen type II wing is not their own design nor do they make it...I cant remember what my box said when I got it but freedom design sounds right.

Stillen is a distributor and re-seller. Kinda like my Brakes are Stillen, but actually they were made by Brembo

thats so they can rip you on shipping. Mine is so much lighter than stock my trunk flies up when I hit the trunk release. I am thinking of doing the mod like yours to stop that.

Chris..

So your spoiler has the LED built into it and not like this one where it's underneath?

Reason I'm asking is that I getting a freedom design one 'cause it's cheaper but cannot find a good pic of their spoiler where it actually shows me where the LED is located.

Re: Chris..

link not working even when copy and pasted...

The LED on mine is integrated. Just a warning and a few of us have gone through this, these spoilers don't fit properly without some work. our trunks are slightly rounded and these things are made for a square car...

to add to the install the stock holes didn't line up either so they had to be filled and new ones were drilled...

Which of the holes of off? the outer mounts or inner holes?

Heres the pic of the other spoiler that looks like the stillen but the LED is mounted underneath.

when you say the Stillen is more expensive did you actually call them. I got mine straight from Stillen for 205 shipped. that is cheaper than freedom designs web site...now if ther are like Stillen they may advertise a price and sell it cheaper so who knows.

I think that's the optional GXE spoiler. I've seen it on lots of GXE's.

Same here. I saw one this weekend on that same color max and it had the LED underneath. It was also a "hard" spoiler and not the Nerf one. Maybe it was an option that nissan got from F.D?

Hey I bet that you saw my car! Those pics are of my car, and I live in Framingham...where did ya see it? Also, if you guys know where I can get replcement bulbs for that spoiler, please let me know. I have been trying to figure out how to replace them. They are LED lights on a circuit board, so I think I need to replace the whole fixture?
