i gotta question for you all. maximamike, you probably know about this stuff. my friend is into drag racing, and his dad is a mechanic. he told me hed put an automatic shift kit in my car for free. he said it would make my car faster. do you know anything about these? are they just for the track or what? i would like to be able to shift, but is it going to be good for the street too? sorry if this is a stupid *** question, but this is the first time ive ever heard about something like this. he said he uses one in his 65 chevelle and he loves it.

Go to http://www.txchange.com/transgo.htm and start reading....its starting to get a lil discussion in here but i don't think anyone uses it yet..for 40 bucks it's worth a shot or in your case free!...
